So I'm officially back! Back in Germany, back in life.
After an exam period that lasted for almost 5 weeks and that took place right in the middle of polar night, I finally have time to relax and blog again. Moreover after having been diagnosed with lack of basically every vitamin that you need for your body to function properly and after being put on "extensive vitamin shot therapy", I think I'll be able to blog regularly again.
Anyway, before I left Tromso I really wanted to capture what the Christmas season is like in the city and so I went on a little photoshoot on my last day in town. The Christmas lights are definitely pretty, especially if there's snow, and they lighten up things during polar night for sure.
However I was a little disappointed as I'm just used to a lot more. Coming from Germany, I'm used to Christmas markets and booths full of delicious food during the whole of December. In Tromso there is one Christmas market in town for just one day and I didn't even get to experience it as it took place after I left. Nonetheless the city is pretty during Christmas season and polar night and that's what I want to show you today.
As I spend most of my time studying and sleeping though, I didn't manage to take a great amount of pictures so I'll also showcase a few amazing shots from my Instagram feed.
And my favourite pictures from Instagram on Christmas and Polar Night in Tromso. More on the latter will be published soon!

Again, I'm sorry for this long blogging break and I promise I'll write about everything you've missed as soon as Christmas is over. Before that though, I want to take you on a tour to a German Christmas market and Kaelene will share what Christmas is like in Iceland this Saturday.
Looking forward to Christmas or can't wait for it to be over?
