Northern Norway stretches over almost 113,000 square kilometres, so it’s no surprise that you might feel a little lost trying to decide where to visit and trying to create an itinerary for your trip! Fortunately for you, I’ve had the chance to travel quite extensively between Norway’s northernmost village and Saltfjellet - the mountain range that sits right on the Arctic Circle - during the 3 years I’ve lived in Northern Norway myself. You guys know that I’m madly in love with the Arctic, right? I mean, I might had to give up living there after 3 years but if the name of this blog is any indication, I still am a sucker for snow! Even though I’ve been living in Tromsø for several years, though, I never felt as much appreciation for the region as I did when I visited Svalbard. Suddenly, the Arctic felt the way I’d always imagined it to be: remote, majestic and different from anything else I’ve ever experienced!
